Each day we dispatch over 8000 trucks on the roads of Europe and we are aware of the importance of managing behaviours on the road in a manner which allows them to reach their destination safely, no matter whether it is a delivery to the most distant corner of the Earth or the way home. We feel responsible not only for our drivers, but also for other road users, and we want to raise the awareness of all of them. For this purpose, we have launched an open interactive educational platform about road safety www.niebadzdziki.pl.
In order to raise awareness of Poles on the road and to build an interconnected safety culture, our safety specialists in cooperation with drivers, have developed a dedicated, educational platform. It offers an e-training course in the form of 10 thematic animations which show selected principles of safe behaviour on roads and manoeuvring yards, and which affect the safety of all road users.
The training is mainly intended for truck and car drivers, but all road users can benefit from it. After reading the 10 animations, each user receives a course completion certificate with the slogan “Congratulations Driver! You’re not wild on the road”, which can be shared using a special Facebook and Linkedin feature to encourage others to stay safe on the road. However, Raben Group employees and drivers who log into to the platform by name, are additionally required to complete a quiz consisting of 15 questions about behaviours on the road. A positive result generates a certificate of completion.
The platform is available on the website www.niebadzdziki.pl for browsers: Mozilla, Safari, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer /MS Edge, as well as for mobile devices with the minimum screen resolution 1280x720 px and the systems Android 5.0 or higher, as well as for iOS 9.0 or higher.
In addition, the communication is supported by dedicated fragrances and stickers for cars with the logotype of the campaign and the slogan “Don’t be wild” and a dedicated communication on Raben Group Facebook.
The platform was created in cooperation with a company specializing in on-line training - Smart Education.
