At the end of July and the beginning of August 2017, our meeting room was filled with our colleagues’ children. The room was transformed into a playroom for youngsters. The employees of Gingerbread House Family Daycare & Playhouse looked after the children and provided the programme for the daycare.Apart from improving arts, crafts and creativity skills, the children also learnt about protecting the environment and the rules of traffic.
“The children were looking forward to the transport day which took place every Thursday of the week. The youngsters were riding the bikes and scooters on the court they created themselves with traffic signs - strictly keeping to the rules of course. On the last day of the camp, the children could take a look at a Raben truck and examine the vehicle that delivers all the toys to the shops.”- told by Krisztina Mészáros, the Leader of Gingerbread House Family Daycare.
„This has been the second time we organised this camp in the past two years; but this year it lasted 4 weeks instead of 3 weeks like last summer. Due to the high demand from the parents who find this camp extremely helpful, our organisation is planning on continuing this programme next year as well.”- told by Ágnes Bolyki Raben’s PR and Marketing Specialist and CSR Coordinator.
The initiative that was based on the company’s strategy of corporate social responsibility was formalised in 2016 by taking into consideration our employee’s requests and opinions.
