A new investment of Raben Group in Lublin

On September, 11, 2013 an official opening of a new logistics centre of Raben Polska and Fresh Logistics took place. The complex is located at Metalurgiczna 34 Street in Lublin.The cost of the investment is over 25 million PLN. Raben Group employs there over 60 people in total.Raben Group has been present in Lublin since 1999. The branch has been enlarged by 2000 m² of transit warehouse and over 14 000 m² of high storage warehouse. The new complex means new services which haven’t been rendered in Lublin so far – for example service of products requiring controlled temperature from +2 to +6 C.Raben Group has over 130 branches in 10 countries of Europe. The location of Lublin near the boarders with Belarus, Ukraine and Slovakia and at the crossroads of a part of an international road Berlin-Warsaw-Kiev, or the so-called Via Carpathia route which is planned, offers a possibility to realize cross-border project. Therefore, Lublin is an important place on the logistics map of Poland – comments Ewald Raben, CEO of Raben Group.”I am very pleased that the management board of Raben Group has decided to develop its company in Lublin. • A three-storey office building with the area of over 1 500 m²,
• Warehousing and transhipment terminal of the area of over 18 000 m²,
• Almost 18 000 m² of roads, parking lots for trucks and vehicle manoeuvre area,
• Over 1000 m² of pavements, parking lots and manoeuvre area for cars and over 7000 m² of greenery,
• A modern fire protection pump station ensuring high standard of fire safety.
