Support for the Pető Institute in Hungary

2013.10.24
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Raben Group finds it important to help not only international, but also local communities.

The mission of the Pető Institute is definitely worth supporting, and the social, grassroots and corporate support of the institute is paramount, this is why Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. decided to support the Pető Institute.

The logistics company handed over the fire extinguishers not used by the company on October 10, 2013, after certification by its fire protection and health and safety partner, Poór-Szem Kereskedelmi Kft.

”On behalf of the children and adults educated in the Pető Institute, as well as their relatives and the employees of the Institute, let us thank Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. for its generous donation, as well as Poór-Szem Kft. for its service; both companies helped us fulfil our task to the best of our knowledge and for the future as well.”, - said Ádám Makk, the Marketing Communications Manager of Pető Institute.

”The Pető Institute has been helping children and adults with congenital disorder since 1945 to live a liveable life, and achieves an unparalleled development with disabled children and adults thanks to its world-famous Hungarian method, conductive education. Raben's donation was especially important for us now to ensure our safe operation, as the Pető Institute is currently facing significant difficulties, yet pursuant to the law it would have been inevitable for us to purchase fire extinguishers.” - explained Ádám Makk.

”We would like to participate in CSR first of all through our professional expertise in transportation and warehousing, but we are open to other kinds of support as well. We want to strengthen the status of the Pető Institute in Hungary by all means.” claimed Ágnes Bolyki, Marketing- PR Specialist and CSR Coordinator of Raben Trans European Hungary Kft.
